So, yeah, whats up with my political obsession? I dunno. Humor me...

I've really enjoyed the past week or so's political topics. Sorry for not answering every post put to me, I get distracted sometimes.

Its got me thinking... it seems like most people are just disatisfied with either American party in this election. Well, if you don't like what someone else has to offer, why not find something else? Look at some of the other offerings though...

C'mon, you aren't going to get people on board with "Independant." That alludes to artsy-fartsy movies or bad college radio.

"Green Party." While a good idea, horrible name, and not focused enough.

There is even a "Prohibition Party." LOL. But this example proves that anything is possible.

(Link to Politics 1.com for listing of current American political parties.) (http://www.politics1.com/parties.htm)

At first I was thinking about an American Bipartisan Party. The word Bipartisan is familiar enough to most americans that it might fly, especially now.

But then I'm like, why not a political party with global membership pushing for a global institution and policy? Imagine a party that has seats in every major power's governments united towards a common global ideal.

It sounds crazy. Fantastic. Stupid to even consider. Then again, nothing is impossible.

Discuss.

Geeze, give them the right to vote and next thing you know they want to start political parties! I better see some T&A in your ads if you want me on board.

I'm registered as an independent, and a committeeman for the Independence party. And my superior has personally told me NOT to vote for an independent party candidate, but rather a democrat or in even some cases, a republican who will support Independent ideals. If your parties support bi-partisan primaries, I'll vote for you heh.
