Facebook "Trending Stories/Video" crap

I get annoyed easily by this kind of unwanted crap, so I went looking for a way to squelch it.

Takes about 30 seconds.

Follow the steps below (if you are a Firefox user) and they will be gone forever.

Go here and install Greasemonkey addon:

Go here and you will be asked to install the Facebook Remove Trending Articles userscript. Code looks safe enough, but JS is not my thang. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Is there a script so you can only see trending stories and videos and squelch everything else?

You could monkey with the code of that script and have it only display things with that flag I guess.

The correct response would be to rage and tell me that I need to learn how to write my own scripts and to stop complaining about other scripts not doing what I want because I am using them wrong. Then you should take down the original script and say you're sick of providing scripts to ungrateful idiots who can't do anything for themselves.
