Came from last years EG. Has lots of mood messaging. Gems can be put in the eyes to alter your eye description when worn, the mask itself also shows in your feature description. I think it really wants you to go on a mass murdering spree. You can remove the gems that are in it but they will be destroyed. Can be altered(maybe). Will consider buyouts.

A smooth black modwir mask is currently oriented to the left. Each of its eye sockets holds an Eye-of-Koar emerald.

Also changes description of your eyes if you someone looks at you IE: He is taller than average and appears to be an adult. He has scintillating Eye-of-Koar emeralds for eyes and lightly tanned skin.

With no gems in it yours look like empty black chasms or something to that effect.

Some examples of mood messaging include:


Blinding rage wells up inside you like white-hot magma, making your fists clench uncontrollably. Third person: XXXX clenches his fists, his face contorting into a silent snarl.

A strained voice whispers, "It's better when they struggle."

A wet, slathering voice bubbles up in your mind, saying, "The blood, the blood, where is the blood..."

A strained voice whispers, "Find us someone to eat."

A wet, slathering voice bubbles up in your mind, saying, "Feed us, we beg of you. We are so hungry, so alone..."

A sobbing, tearful voice cries, "Free me, I beg of you."

A cackling voice in your mind shrieks, "They are coming, they are coming!"
You get the sudden sensation that there is something on your back.

A gentle voice whispers, "Even death may die."

A sobbing, tearful voice cries, "Not my fault. I did not want to..."

A softly sibilant voice rasps, "XXXX" is plotting to kill you. I heard him. Strike first."

Just a warning from someone who has been trying to get his altered for a while now. It was posted on the officials that these were intended to only be altered at EG.

I tried at several merchants and through Sadie scrolls prior to this information coming out.

Hrm, interesting. I never tried to get mine altered but I had seen some that were.

Yeah, he altered some the first night of EG, and that's the last I've personally seen or heard of that merchant showing up. Would love for him to come back around.

Tankatuka or something like that, was the merchant.

Also, the mask can change your eye features. If you have 2 of the same gem in the mask then your eyes will be that gem.. So and so has brilliant sunstone eyes or something to that effect.. if you have mismatched gems, then it'll say gems or mismatched gems.. if you have no gems it'll have something like gaping holes for eyes.

I'm assuming it has it's own custom slot, as it alters your features as well.

You raise the black modwir mask to your face, and it latches on to your skin hungrily. After a moment of blinding agony, the mask settles onto your flesh like a second skin.

A fun thing to note; if you wear a partial face concealer the actual mask cannot be seen in your features, only the eye descriptions.

IE: He is taller than average. He has scintillating Eye-of-Koar emeralds for eyes and lightly tanned skin. He has chin length, unruly dark brown hair.
His face is concealed by a shadowy black spidersilk mask.
