As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the black mithglin torc in your hand...

The torc resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 5 to Spell Aiming Bonus.
The torc looks to have more than your average giantman could count charges remaining.

You sense that the black mithglin torc will persist after its last enhancive charge has been expended.

You sense that the black mithglin torc will persist after its last magical charge has been expended.

This torc is also a blank imbed - and is a crystal holder. Handy! :)

tap torc
You tap a gold-swirled black mithglin torc set with a blue crystal, which is in your right hand.

MB is 5 million
CB is now 8 million to Fleurs *twice*!
buyouts and trade offers considered!

Thanks!

I was thinking much the same thing, while simultaneously being impressed that it MUST work because they released it... right?

Are you sure this is imbeddable? The loresong on my medallion is similar and indicates nothing about mana capacity which a typical imbed would do. I took the "will persist after its last magical charge has been expended" to indicate the crystal holder persists once the crystal is used up.

If I remember tonight, I'll try singing to/imbedding one of the crystal holders I have left over from EG (I'm not going to risk being wrong on the SA medallion).

I'm just going by what Droughtman said - he said it was. I sang to it and clipped what I saw. It wouldn't be the be-all end -all thing for me as a buyer if you could imbed it - but I was just passing it along in case it floated someone's boat. :)

I suppose my "you" should've been more generic. I suspect he may have thought so, but it wouldn't be the first mistake made. Though, you're also right that I don't think that was where the value in the item was. (At least, I hope not since I plan to sell the medallion eventually.)

Checking one of the EG holders:

This is a small item, under a pound. In your best estimation, it's worth about 20,000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the azure vaalin band.

You sense a faint aura of magic around the azure vaalin band. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the band is to cast a spell or perform some magical purpose.

This is a magical item of some sort.

You sense that the azure vaalin band will persist after its last magical charge has been expended.

405 is more explicit:
You gesture at an opalescent azure vaalin band.
The essence swirls in chaotic patterns around the empty setting of the band. You sense that the azure vaalin band is a magical construction, but it is not currently powered by any source.

And since I was already had it out, I gave 420 a shot just to be safe:
You gesture at an opalescent azure vaalin band.
Your spell misfires.

And a free bump to go with all that.
