I'm not sure if this goes here, but I didn't see another area to put it.

I was reading in Kraki that Charl, although Liabo, uses bane instead of smite. I read elsewhere, in Kraki, that followers of Liabo (and it doesn't exclude Charl on this page) cast smite.

I'm looking for someone that can confirm or deny that Charl followers have bane instead of smite.

In a realated question, is there a mechanical difference between a liabo/neutral/lornon deity that casts bane? For instance, do they have a different level of smite?

And does liabo/lornon make the difference in cleric spells other than 302, or is it the smite/bane that makes the difference?
