Has premium gone up in price? I have been out of the game for...i think about 3 years.


I used to have 1 premium account

1 normal account + extra char slot.

Now this would bring me to $56/mo

Thats the most expensive online game ever. Even without a second account 40 bucks a month! Whew! I mean I know its supporting game dev and its needed, but still...I dont remember it being THIS expensive?

About the price of a new-old PS3/360 game. Which isn't too bad but given the age of the game I'd say it's a bit much.

Though the general populace of the game is in agreement that the price won't (ever) drop because Simu is reluctant to give up a penny.

Yah i dont play console games anyways. I can understand they dont want to drop the price, of course. Maintaining the game takes resources, and of course they want to make some money in the process. I respect that.

I guess im just still trying to cope with the idea of paying almost $60/mo to get back to how I was playing before... :D

I'm pretty sure $40 for premium has been in effect for a while.

It took a lot of work but I thought it was well worth it to ditch down items/characters to just have a basic.

True, I suppose I could try that. 2 basics, maybe with 2 char slots each could work. ~35 bucks instead of 54...I dont really need all those alts anyways. How did you manage locker space though? I have so much stuff... hahah, part of the fun collecting things over the years.

A couple ways to do that, (cutting down on locker space).

Well I MA like crazy, so that took off some brunt of it. However a lot of junk went right to the damn pawnshop.

Sometimes I buy stuff at an event, realize I still have no storage space and just drop it on the floor when the event is over. If there's stuff in your locker you haven't used in years or simply forgot about it, you can afford to lose it.
