Has anyone tried to make a sheath and inlay the EG digging gems?

I tried this yesterday and I was unable to inlay the gems.

Not sure if this is a bug or by design. If it's by design then I spent way to much coins for 6 cool looking onyx.

EG gems are coded differently and usually don't work with most other systems.

I tried to inlay scarabs on a sheath a while back and those didn't work either. Bummer.

The orbs from the wasp nests don't work either.

If you want scarabs you can get the scarab pattern for the gem cutter. While not a true scarab it's close.
