What I know: Chronomage daggers are blessable, and there's at least one that's 7x, and one that's 6x. They "flare" extra strikes, and have fun scripts.

Given that... are they enchantable through normal means, or does it require PPs / raffle / DM wins? Can they have weighting added? Are they alterable?

They can be enchanted normally. They just have a fancy script.

I would be reluctant to use regular means on something like that, just because you already have so much invested. Maybe it's just me. Also, if you leave it blessable, you can hit anything with it. If you put flares on it, suddenly you need another weapon.

Yeah it was temping to pick this up and paladin bond to it.

Thanks guys. Just trying to figure out if I should plan on this being my "project" weapon, and planning out the steps.

TWC hurling is quite effective, and TWC compliments hurling quite nicely, and would be even nicer for a rogue who can 3x dodge much more cheaply than my warrior can. Just ask Dr Unne, he does TWC handaxes as a rogue and it looks very effective from what I've seen.

TWC sniping with a pair of chronomage daggers would be pretty awesome to see (or not see!).

And FYI: one of the chronomage daggers is at 8x now, (the 7x one that Neimanz was selling about a month back).

Hm. How many of these exist? I thought the count was at 7, but I could be mistaken in that. I've never done TWC, but it certainly sounds doable.

I think 7 is correct: the initial 4 from EG 2010 or was it just 2 of them? I think it was 4. +3 more at Droughtmans, or is it 8 with the one from the most recent Droughtmans?

Krakii says 3 came out at EG 2010, and I thought I had heard 4 in the "big" DM run. But it's something like that.

I'm confident that an even number came out in the EG auctions, either 1 in each room, or much more likely 2 in each room. The very first item in the auction room was a chronomage dagger.
