Granted I saw a boot leg of it just to me it seemed like this movie focused more on the team forming and dynamics of it all, than action itself.

Hopefully the 2nd movie is more action packed. Otherwise it was the typical "Oh look we are being invaded, attack" sort of plot.

I loved the one bittty scene...

After Thor and Hulk decimated some bad guys...

And Hulk just punched him in the side of the head...

The bolded part is exactly why it's a good movie. It's the process of getting to the goal that really holds an audience's interest, that shows them why they should care.

I'm still amazed I got to see an avengers movie and it was good. I grew up on iron man, the avengers, infinity gauntlet, etc

The first extra scene gave me chills. He's one of the most badass villains of all time

You can see the giant schwarma rotating on the spit in the background.

From what I read yesterday, they actually shot that scene post premiere and RDJ talked to Whedon about it and got all the actors onboard.
