Any insight why the top 10 list of all time fame is filled mostly with clerics? Do you get a shitload of fame when you raise someone?

It's called deathbotting. It's when you create a character that just kills itself and you use your cleric to script raise it over and over, gaining massive amounts of fame. Mofuggah is the highest non-deathbotting cleric on that list, and has probably two or three times the exp of the three at the top of the list.

Nah, it's only a couple minutes, I believe. Slow spirit-recovery races will likely find that the raise cooldown is up before their spirit has returned. Paladin rez has a longer cooldown, but I was thinking more like once per day? Can't speak to how effective deathbotting it is since I've only ever rezzed people now and again with my cleric, but if you can keep things at numbed/fried on a node all day, sounds like a win to me.

Supposedly you can stay fried with it and rezz every 10 minutes far easier and with less risk than you can hunt. It's rather lame though, as you can cap at a table.

The fame formula for Clerics and Raising is wicked broken. What REALLY sucks is that if a non-cleric does a raise via scrolls they don't get crap for exp/fame.

I think we might have even kept a couple other empaths fried too from time to time.

I think the most my sorc bot ever kept fried at once was 4 empaths. As long as they were just maintaining a fried head I could have kept more up. Filling heads from belled would throw the whole system off though. It also helps that I discovered the 2 tables at Wayside that don't prevent harmful spells (crimson crocus and whatever the G one is), so I could plant the bot at the table instead of running out to blood burst or frying nerves and giving the empath a scar to interfere with xp absorbtion. In the middle of the Marlu mess, having a 100% un-fuck-with-able wound bot was pretty awesome. To the best of my knowledge, those are the only 2 tables in the game to allow that.

But on topic, yes, raising gives a fuck ton more fame than anything else in the game.

Healing fame is much worse than that. Those guys have all hunted quite a bit. I think I stopped hunting Staypuff in the low 20s:
