So I am just about done with cheapshots on my rogue and I thought I might share my list of issues with them:

- Creature vulnerabilities:
Many creatures are immune to various cheapshots. This has been discussed before but there has never any statement of forward motion. Typically, I noticed that tall creatures (giants and the like) were immune to cheapshots which involved the head (templeshot, eyepoke, nosetweak, and I think throatchop) whether or not they were prone. The assumption is that height was hard-coded here. The list of creature that should be vulnerable doesn't stop here, but this is the most glaring, I think.

- Hands full/empty:
Most of them should be doable bare-handed (preferred) or with a bow in your left hand. The fact that I can't throatchop, kneebash, or templeshot barehanded but I can use "the blunt end of an arrow" is pretty silly. Also, it would be nice if nosetweak and eyepoke were doable with a weapon in hand. You may never use these maneuvers in the first place, but if you're sword/board, you'll REALLY never use them. I'll even drop some messaging ideas:
"You swing the knife-edge of your hand at <a creature's> throat!"
"You swing a strong downward fist into <a creature's> knee!"
"You swing your <bow> around in an arc into <a creature's> knee!"
"You swing an open palm into <a creature's> temple!"
"You whip your <bow> around into <a creature's> temple!"
"You swing the hilt of your <weapon> up into <a creature's> nose!"
"You jab the hilt of your <weapon> against <a creature's> brow!"

- Flares:
Flaring weapons should flare and flaring armor should flare. Pretty straight forward.

- Weapon dropping:
If you fail hard enough (-150 open roll did it once for me) at certain cheapshots (templeshot for instance), you can drop your weapon. Major failures on sweep will force you into a kneeling position, there's probably others with similar issues. Those aren't too bad but dropping your weapon seems REALLY rough.
