Anyone know the agi/dex bonus needed to dual wield the stars?

Thanks.

Your agility+ dexterity would have to be 38 I believe to remove the extra 3 seconds of RT.

Still contemplating taking my paladin

Tried it myself. It was very nice.

Tight on TPs clearly, but with mage spells and a mage hasting me...I LIKE US AND A

Trying to max out armor, as he is more or less a supporting character for armor fluidity. As you can see, TP's are tight.

Seems to work out well.

Are you dual wielding stars at 5, 6, or 7 seconds of final RT (even after -3 RT removal from agility/dexterity)?

What is the loresung weight of your offhand star?

.

Basically, I'm curious to know (can't test it just yet) certain results...

A 7lb off hand weapon creates +1 RT. Does an 8lb off hand weapon create +1 RT or +2? That could indicate that you just need to lighten your off hand to 7 lbs and you could remove 1 RT.

I also bet (based on my falchion testing in the other TWC thread) that if you were to get your off hand star lightened to 4 lbs you could remove all penalties and swing both @ 5 seconds.

It's definitely possible to swing both at 5 seconds. I don't know the threshold though. I'm pretty sure both my stars were max lightened and my agidex was 70.

Swinging both at 5 second RT. No easy access to a bard to loresing weight (this is in plat), but they are both lightened multiple times. They are NOT max lightened stars, though.

My warrior at lvl 6, with 14 ranks in TWC/blunt, AGI/DEX 51, main hand weighs 8, off hand weighs 6, swings at 6 secs and MOC at 9 secs.

Are you taking into account race? Not that I know, or have tested it, but it wouldn't surprise me if the offhand weapon weigh issue used race/hidden racial bonus and AGIDEX for it's RT calculations. Basically I could easily see giants having an inherent bonus(?) to allow them to swing heavier offhand weapons without incurring any penalty compared to say halflings. Similar to how race determines armor encumbrance.

Plus, when you say a "7lb off hand weapon creates +1 RT" are you saying this RT is independent of the main hand weapon weight? Or are you assuming the offhand weapon weighs exactly the same as the main weapon?

At 14ish million exp it shouldn't be a problem

Similar to how race determines armor encumbrance.Unfortunately, I only have access to one character (half-elf) that has TWC so I don't know. Good point though, and I'll edit my data post (in the other TWC thread; http://forum.gsplayers.com/showthread.php?t=63754) to reflect their race.

Or are you assuming the offhand weapon weighs exactly the same as the main weapon?Surprisingly, it's independent. Also, just to clarify.. the character I tested with.. the threshold was at 4/5. I just didn't have any 8lb falchions (it never crossed my mind to test other weapons so that's why I'm curious if there's another threshold at 7/8).

(93 strength (21 bonus))

(-3 RT from stats)

7lb falchion + 5lb falchion = 6 RT

7lb falchion + 4lb falchion = 5 RT

3lb falchion + 7lb falchion = 6 RT
