at 83 if i wanted to fixskill to pure what should my skills look like? also is pure really better then sonic weapons?

You may want to consider holding off on going pure just yet.

Since the unarmed combat system is coming out the unarmed/pure hybrid build may be the most versatile. You could 2x brawl and 1x shield like many people do currently. You could even train some CM with the extra TPs you would save over being a straight polearm bard. Could easily maintain 1.5x+ spells per level and have some physical back up when you're running low on mana. We could see bards going pure at much lower levels.

This is of course speculating that the new unarmed system doesn't hit like wet noodles.

What a brain dump. I'm getting myself all excited over something that may not be implemented for months, and might be less than effective.
