View Full Version : New Lich Question
Howdy...
New to the whole Lich deal, so excuse me being a nub.
I'm using WizardFE - Lich seems to have some built in text-string color highlights, and I'm trying to figure out how to make them go away. They overwrite the ones that I normally use myself, and it's exceptionally annoying.
Any advice?

If you're talking about the highlighted objects in the room description, you can use the highlight_links script to change the color or disable it. If you're talking about how his/her/it/etc is now highlighted, that's caused by Lich pretending to be Stormfront. You could probably turn it off with "set monsterbold off", but that's probably going to get rid of more highlights than you want.
That'd be the only way to fix it then? Ah that sucks, the "pretending to be stormfront" thing overwrites all my normal highlights for monsters attacking me and things.
I suppose of there's no other way to fix that, I probably wont be using lich then. Darn.

I had this problem, too. I ended up setting monster bold off and just manually highlighting a lot of things. It also messes up pretty badly when in player houses, and a handful of other things tell me to click on them, but there's no clicking in the Wizard, so they don't work.

Wow... existing highlights vs lich and you choose... highlights?
Eh, I made the jump to stormfront finally. Slowly getting used to it. That fixes all the aforementioned problems....
Was able to make SF look very similar to wizard, getting rid of link underlines and things. Makes it a little less of a headache to look at.
