So, who do you think will be the biggest impact player this year? Who do you think will be the biggest disappointment? TONS of free agent movement this year... so it could be an interesting season.

Glad you added that... and no I'm not playing in the GS league this year. The rules blow.

I've been playing now for 6 years... and even won the Super Bowl once. Last year I got FUCKED when E. James and T. Henry both went down in the same span.

Andre Johnson will have a huuuge year. If you are in a keeper league, take him in round 3, he's a stud.

The rules on your fantasy football league that sucked are as follows:

You can have as many in any position as you want.. as long as you field a full team on Sunday. This means you can have what.. 10 running backs? Stupid.

You can add/drop as much as you want. This obviously benefits the people who sit on NFL.com and wait for any starting news.. then pop over to the fantasy site and adding them to your team.

Trades between players have no approval needed and can take place almost anytime.

Play on a free website that sucks hard. You can't get any real information about how you are doing until you upgrade to their 'premium' service.

I'm sure there are more things I disliked about it.. but that's all off the top of my head.

In summary:

Falgrin > Sergey + Tijay

My player questions:

* Can they get Owens the ball enough to at least keep the pace from last year?

* Will Moss decide to play?

* Will Holmes stay healthy this year.. or will Larry Johnson emerge as factor?

* Who's the QB in NY? Manning or Warner?

* Does Dillion plus good line = huge year?

* Gibbs loves to pound.. is Portis up for the challenge?

* Is Chad Pennington ready to emerge as a solid starter?

* Can Rudy Johnson step out of Dillion's shadow and pound the rock?

Bench restrictions allow people to remain competitive and not at the mercy of the team that whords players. I'm not a sore loser.. I just didn't have fun last year at all. When your 2 RBs go down and the best thing available on the wire is a bench RB that will never ever get to play.. then there's something flawed with the system.

Hey.. to each their own. I just like it to be more friendly than it was last year.

I'm curious why you feel someone shouldn't be rewarded at the cost of their personal time?

Anyway atleast this years draft day doesn't begin when I'm racing home from work. So I'll actually beable to draft my 1st few picks.

Your rules blow Sergey.

I've been in a family league since I was like 10 (I won it my first two years, haha) and I'm in a few with friends now. None of them are the way your league is.

I also know plenty of people in other leagues and none of them run it that way either.

Having bench restrictions causes everyone to make much more calculated moves, not just pick up anyone who had 40 yards rushing that week.

And you have to have position requirements, saying otherwise is just silly.

That being said, if you do need anyone to fill the rest of your league, I'd do it.

I'm not saying that they shouldn't be rewarded.. but it makes it less fun for the casual player... which I am. My belief is that there should be some restrictions or financial penalties for those that sit in the free agent pool everyday, all day.

In my league, every transaction costs $3 which is put in a pot for the team with the most points scored at the end of the year. It makes the owner think before they just add.

I think Charlie Garner is going to have a relatively good year for how far he will slip. Same for Duce Staley with the Steelers. Westbrook for the Birds will be very productive, injury is a question though.

Joey Harrington will set NFL passing records with the Lions this year :yes2:

The difference being last year you could start 4 RB's this year you can only start 2 if you read the rules. Theres no longer a flex position. Holding onto all the RBs doesn't really help you nearly as much anymore.

We do have 1 flex, its a wr/te though. and the buy in is 5-5.5m if we have an opening.

Just as a heads up Corey Dillon won't have a huge year. 1200 yards max. Patriots offensive line is not a good run blockling line and is probably the weakness of their team. Thats why they wanted to draft Vernon Carey in the draft but Miami scooped him up. Pats line are pass blocking specialists.

They say that about Thomas Jones every year...and he shits the bed every year.

Duce Staley is mediocre at best, the Steelers running game was nothing special last year, it'll be the same this year.

And PB, Larry Johnson is a joke...what was he, 4th on the depth chart last year? That's awful for a first round pick. Holmes will probably have another great year and everyone will regret passing him over with the 1st or 2nd pick of the draft.

Ahman Green will do well too...but it's hard to bring myself to draft a guy who blamed his fumbling problems on his arms sweating too much.

I like Charles Rodgers, Santana Moss, Andre Johnson, as solid WR picks you can get a few rounds into the draft.
