Zelnorn + TWC

Anyone tested to see if both weapons gain the AS bonus? I have a zelnorn OHE thats +15/+15 and doesn't seem to add to both hands, only the hand its held in. I know zelnorn armor increases AS/DS but does it work for both hands?

My zelnorn armor is definitely adding to both main and off hand.

I just checked and my zelnorn OHE doesn't add to mainhand AS.

It was probably not coded with TWC in mind. You should bring it up on the officials.

If thats the case, at least the first weapon (or the one with the highest AS boost) should add to both hands. You can use a shield to add to mainhand AS (i believe?) so why wouldn't it work with TWC?

Can you post up the results of your testing the zelnorn?

Are you swapping out for 0x items in the main hand? Make sure you are in stance offensive? Make sure no spells dropping, changing rooms for conditional effects, leaving groups to change Side by Side bonus...

Does the zelnorn add to the offhand when it is the primary?

I thought zelnorn weapons were coded like defender weapons? Probably way off, but just a thought.

A zelnorn weapon I believe acts as the following:

+15 AS/+15 DS

The zelnorn AS Properties on a weapon, is basically it's standard enchant.

If you were to swap out a zelnorn weapon with another 3x weapon, you should see no change in AS.

However, swap the two out and you SHOULD see a change in DS.

With a zelnorn weapon, you should be testing DS, not AS.

But it is interesting to see what is/was/should be happening for your off-hand AS, with the zelnorn wielded.

If anything, I'd get a GM to check it out and everything. Like Sept said, for TWC and Offhand AS, it looks like it's not factoring that in at all due to it being a weapon as opposed to an armor/shield piece.

If it should, then you should be getting no AS change in the mainhand, yet an additional +15 in the offhand plus +15 DS for it being zelnorn...Least that's how I'm understanding it

I may have said that. That's how the armor works for sure. Off hand AS is not my forte however. Post some results so we can have a look.

Why not just go with a pair of fusion weapons? Probably end up with a higher net attack.

If it added to mainhand it would be an excellent weapon for TWC. Right now its additional DS, but my other offhand is +10 OHE/+9 stam recovery and id prefer it over the zelnorn. Maybe ill pp enchant it to +20/+20 if I dont find a buyer/trade for it. +20 DS might come in handy somewhere later on

I would recommend against using PP on the zelnorn if it does not boost for TWC. Crappy defender weapons are still crappy if you boost them. There will be a surcharge for the special property and pushing it to essentially 8x is an assload of points. Sell the points and buy a DB if you want the DS.
