Holy crap, my friend was on fire...literally!

So I went to visit my friend at the renfaire today (it was closing day) and what a show. He did his juggling show and managed to set part of his costume on fire. When I get my photos developed from this camera I'll post pics.

By the way, he's alright. He has a few small burns and his brother is burned on the hands slightly as well.

Yeah and the faire video guy kept on filming. He'll never live this one down.

Oh and all the actors were running up to him asking him to replay it. I've also been asked by several to email the photos when they are ready. LOL

Fun party trick:

Spray your thumb fingertip (NOT anywhere near the nail or cuticle) with binaca. Light it on fire. Put it out in your mouth when it gets too hot. You'll barely feel a thing. Your palm could always work.

Lighting your socks on fire while you're wearing them is also always good for a laugh, if you don't mind the following smell. It'll burn the fuzz off and make a wave pattern as it travels around your foot.

Putting cigarettes out on your tongue also doesn't hurt at all, as long as you don't mind the salty/ashy taste afterwards, and having a black spot on your tongue for a bit.

No offense, 3704558, but I doubt anyone is going to light themselves on fire after hearing from someone on the internet that it won't hurt.

That's not to say I won't try those tricks on my friends, just something my momma always told me: "Anytime a stranger tells you fire won't hurt, try it on some innocent bystanders first."

No offense taken. I wasn't actually expecting anybody to actually try it based on my word alone. Hell, I could barely convince my friends to try it even after they had just watched me do it without getting harmed at all.

Of course, one time I did convince someone, and he did get hurt... that's how I found out you shouldn't spray your nail or cuticle. :lol:

But, whatever. Have a psycho friend try it first. Just make sure they do it right.

Hehehe, it was just his sash that caught on fire not his body. Plus I was partially freaking out and yelling "Drop George Drop" the entire damn time. All the little kids were like "Stop Drop and Roll man!" I cant wait till he gets a copy of the video.

Sadly, if people remember anything from their experience at the faire this year, it will be George on fire and not some of the other funny shit that happened. :wow:
