Had my GS fix and am quitting for a bit again. Not sure if I am coming back again (never am, it's always a spur of the moment choice when I do).
Since I'd rather not have stuff go into the void if I do end up retiring, 2 questions:
1) Anyone want my stuff?
2) Is what I paid for them a good MB for the forum, or did I get emotionally attached to an item and overpay for it?
----------------------------------
1) Hollow Soulstone Wand
http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Hollow_Soulstone_Wand
MB: 120M
2) deathly black jagged-edged executioner's sword
+7x
+27Crit
+Grip switchable
+Pocket in hilt for 1 item small amount
MB: 75M
3) skinning knife
http://forum.gsplayers.com/showthread.php?t=60152
MB: 65M
4) Bloodsoul falchion (10x, soul draining death crit)
+Scripts
MB: 60M
5) golvern tower shield (10x, strapped, 5lbs, tower)
MB: 35M
6) some murky black leather hunts (7x, HDP) (double leather)
MB: 25M
7) an elegant ora bastard sword inlaid with crimson veniom-tipped thorns (6x, HCW)
+Grip switchable
MB: 20M
8) onyx-edged shadowy black brigandine (4x, HCP)
MB: 15M
9) viciously serrated moon axe (6x, mech flare, hand axe base)
+Flare strikes the same place you do
MB: 12M
10) scorched faewood runestaff (4x, stand assist)
This auction is a scorched faewood runestaff. It is 4x and has all of Felthrop's scripts, which were added from a raffle.
All nine scripts are as follows
>turn runestaff
With a deft twist of one wrist, you send your runestaff into a whistling spin that is arrested with a sharp slap as you catch its quivering length across your other palm.
>rub runestaff
You spit in your hand and buff your runestaff clean.
>tap runestaff
You sharply rap the butt of your runestaff against the ground.
>lean runestaff
You plant the tip of your runestaff on the ground firmly and lean on it, taking advantage of the support it offers.
>push runestaff
You spin rapidly in a full circle, sweeping your runestaff in a wide arc around you.
>hug runestaff
You draw your runestaff close and lean your forehead against it.
>knock on runestaff
Nearly dropping your runestaff, you fumble after it only to knock yourself in the head as you get a good grip again.
>kick runestaff
You catch your ankle against your runestaff with a sharp rap. Wincing in pain, you inadvertently get it caught between your feet and go sprawling to the ground in an unceremonious heap.
And most importantly...
P>push runestaff
Leaning heavily on your runestaff, you clamber to your feet.
Roundtime: 5 sec.
Can be used in combat and will put you on your feet no matter your encumbrance or lack of limb(s).
MB: 500K
----------------------------------------
I think I have some others but I'd have to check.
If enough people are interested, I'll throw these up for auction, otherwise I'll just hibernate for another year.
Hope everyone's having a good week!

You should go post this in High-End Valuables. I'd also change the title so people actually know you are selling a ton of really nice items.
old or new style bastard sword? I meant the 7x one

I'd also change the order so the random scripted 4x runestaff isn't at the top of the list.

K, list altered so it goes in descending order of MB

Both bastards should be new style.

You are still posted in the appraisals folder....
And those prices prices look close to top price but they're still good.

Yes, as stated
1) I wanted to get the appraisal for the MBs to see if they were too high or not (thanks for the input Drayal)
and
2) I wanted to appraise if people wanted to buy all these or if I should just take them with me into hibernation. I really don't want to just sell one or two items.
That's why this thread is in appraisals for the moment.

from the end of the Krakii article:
Raising
As of the writing of this article, the use of Raise causes only the following messaging for anyone who tries it:
raise wand
You raise your soulstone wand skyward!
You sense that the soulstone wand holds much ancient magic that is wholly unknown to you.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.
This function has been attempted by a sorcerer with 202 ranks in Magic Item Use and by another sorcerer with 130 ranks in Sorcerous Lore, Necromancy. There have been hints that with the proper skill in Sorcerous Lore, Necromancy, the use of Raise will activate an as-of-yet unknown fourth property.
has anyone ever found out what this is?
edit: nm not up past 130 ranks yet

I think most of your prices are in line. Whether or not you should keep them or sell them depends entirely on you, and if you come back or not. To hedge the bet or just sell it all? That is the question.
#2 is my old sword, someone was trying pretty hard to track it down a while ago. Awesome blade.

Out of curiosity, what do you use now instead then?

It is newstyle but don't let that put you off, this is a sick blade.

For THW I have a 4x claid weighted mattock
For OHE I have 2 blink short swords as my mains. Backups are a 7x HCW falc and a 5x ECW falc (duel wield)
I owned that bastard sword for 7 or 8 years, longer than any of it's previous owners by far and it's a great blade but sometimes you gotta mix things up.

Your prices are in the ballpark I would say. But you have to decide what kind of loss you are interested in. Do you want a 10-20% loss or a 100% loss if you just close out.
I think most of your items will sell, but I am not sure they will sell for what you paid as usually you outbid/outpaid someone else for the item. So if all the same parties were interested you might find that it sells for a bit less.

5x MCP hauberk.

I'd buy the 6x bastard sword. Brig seems like altered fgb, probably more around 10m +or- 1-3m
That being said, I'm interested in 7and 9.

Wow.

You're a terror in the field with those weapons.

Yes Streamdancer. I'd be interested in your #9.
9) viciously serrated moon axe (6x, mech flare, hand axe base)
+Flare strikes the same place you do
MB: 12M
IMHO, 12M for a 6x flaring handaxe is a bit high, but I'm as frugal <cough> cheap <cough> as they come. The boardies are definately more versed in prices than I would be for this item.

I'm interested in:
5) golvern tower shield (10x, strapped, 5lbs, tower)
Any chance you'd be willing to lower the MB a bit? Lately, most 10x tower shields have been selling in the 25m-30m range.

Wonder if there is anything more to those wands or not. With the annual fixskills coming up, might be worth it to try and use this years fixskills to find out.

Don't sell out if you ever intend to come back. Your wealth is better off being tied up in high-end items (unless some change or new item nerfs one or two)...long term trend is for silver inflation.
At least that's how I reckon in.

Not really, all of the info about those wands is up on Krakii

It depends, you shouldn't sell and keep the silvers. You're better off selling items and getting dollars. Items have gone up in silver value but have decreased in dollar value (there are a few exceptions, DB items have stayed roughly even in dollar value for the last 8 years, but almost everything else has gone down in dollar value).

Alright, thank you all for your interest. I very much appreciate all of the input I have received. I was torn on the idea of selling or keeping, and a good friend of mine gave me some excellent advice: Keep the items for a few months or so and if you come back then you have them, and if you don't, then go ahead and sell them.
Again, thank you all for your help, and @Vivina, I love your avatar! :-)
