So, most of you see me talk on LNet about being military and on the other side of the world. I never ask for handouts or anything else in regards to my military service as it makes me feel guilty in doing so.. After a conversation with an individual a couple of weeks ago on LNet on why I should not feel guilty and enjoy the military support, I'm going to set my "guilty feelings" aside for now and see how this fairs out.
I'm going home in a couple of months for my R&R (Rest and Relaxation) and during that time I will be purchasing a new laptop (my current laptop has about had it and can barely handle playing GS4 much less watching a video or anything else) so that I can continue to skype with the family back home and continue to Enjoy GS4 (along with watching movies, training videos :wink:, and anything else I can do in my spare time to stay sane. This laptop will continue to come in really handy the rest of my deployment and the year afterwords that I will be without my family (I've already moved them to where I'm retiring to so my next command I'm going solo or "GeoBach" for those who know the term).
My wife is budgeting in money so I can get one when I get home but it's not going to be that much (Maybe $500 - $600). I would like to try and purchase a better laptop than what that money will afford so when I have an actual internet connection I can play online games (My whole family plays World of Warcraft) with the wife and kids.
Figure I would reach out to the GS4 Community on this as I've met some really great people in these lands.. So much so that even after an 8 year absence I had to come back.
