For those asking because it has the noun "vest" in it it should be able to be converted into a "worn on the front".

weird, off the shelf these weighed 2 pounds, looks like someone altered one of the elven surcoats into a vest for some odd reason

There for a period of time, I had a couple GMs decide it was cool to add weight to items they deepened.
Could also be this.

Never had that happen, most of my deepening was done before the current silly rules, of course having all pin worn containers now sucks heh
