7x perfect handaxe with double flare capability or 7x perfect HCW. Capped OHE Paladin. 30 ranks of MoC. 290 ranks of armor. 2x PF and 2X shield. 150 Cmans.

1. Get more than 30 MoC.
2. Use the Weighted axe.
3. Profit.

I had planned to go 60 MoC, but will have to go down to 30 in order to get 290 ranks of armor to train off 100's hinderance.

Ignore the 100's hinderance. With Fluidity and the regular full plate ranks, you'll be fine

with fluidity it is still 86% hinderance. thats no good

30 ranks of MOC and you're capped? I'm cringing right now.

What's making you want to switch from THW to sword and bored?

Should i go down to 172 ranks in PF and make my MoC go back up to 60?

THW means more death, lol. which sucks when not many peopel are on. Sword and board makes up for the crappy defense we have.

With 290 ranks of armor it's 20% hinderance. I assumed that fluidity would bring that down to 10%. Work your way backwards from there to a comfortable number?

I havent seen anything that denoted the percent going down as you train up. I had 160 ranks before that. That is where I was at 86% with fluidity. Fluidity will give me 10% period. How many ranks would i need in order to be at 30% (Then i can get it to 20%) Either way, do you think it is a better idea to chimp on 30 ranks of PF for 30 MoC in the mean time?

Arch that only tells me how many ranks I need to totally train of hinderance. not go from 86% to 60% to 40% to 30%, etc.

Each base hindrance is increased by (.05*base hindrance) per point of bonus away from the required amount.

so 15 ranks should equal about 9% train off?

I am really sad to hear a capped Paladin feels they can't go THW because they die constantantly.
Something is borked here.

If the base hiinderance is 20, .05%x20=1 right? Maybe a paladin should chime in!

Don't let an outlier get you down.

Armor issues aside, paladin flares are dum. Regardless of the build, pick something else OTHER than our flares.

....why are you not 2x in CM? If your AS is high enough, then weighting and flares won't matter, it will be dead anyway.

because training 290 in armor ranks ensures I can cast 117 continuously without much hinderance. That = 75 AS. The other 50ish ranks in CM = 25ish AS. Either which way, depending on hunting style, and endroll, I am always interested in which weapon type is the best type before spending money on it. MoC with sword and board is dependant on the type of hunting... which areas/camps and hunting party.

I have a 7X perfect handaxe now that i use with flares. I was debating on making it HCW. I'd rather know now before getting a level 5 bond with a weapon I shouldn't have even messed with. My THW is a black ora flail. Pretty cool and all...but the DS+ with sword and board is nice too.
