OK... so... this has been discussed, but this time it's for real. Maryland RenFest... how many people would be interested in attending such a gathering?

I'm going, whether YOU guys come or not, but I'm wondering what sort of -real- interest there would be in such a thing.

Bringing this back up because, well, its right around the frigging corner. Next weekend is tough. I'm leaning towards Labor Day weekend so the transition back into the new week will be easy.

Tickets in are cheap, so we might think about renting a couple of rooms and terrorize the locals.

Otherwise we'll let some people sleep on the floor, or, call and make more reservations if there are a larger number of you interested. We could probably get away with 6-8 per room, but I'd rather not push it. Oh, and rooms are going fast. We were lucky to get these.

We'll meet at the Comfort Inn the morning of the 4th, lets say around 11am. More details to follow as this plays out.

Amtrak out of Union Station will get you to Maryland in three hours. Plus, you don’t have to drive, so you can cruise the cars and have cocktails.

Only big problem is the $150 round-trip ticket.

Oh, and anyone who comes up to the Maryland side of the Metro can get a ride to the hotel and the Fest and back as long as its going back Sunday morning because I ain’t driving Saturday night. :beer:
