it makes a decent project, though LBP is a rarely used armor type. Theoretically you could add ranger resistance to it, making it ice/fire resistance (which is uncommon, being able to get both elements, thats like half a DC right there).

It would need to be enchanted though, up to 4x or 5x at least. Which is doable, maybe even 6x.

Then you have the question of who would use it? A middling ranger, bard, or rogue who uses two weapons maybe, they could put on armor accessories to make it brig-like.

Possibly, ignoring the twc and taking it just for the permanent fire resistance, a higher level pure (empath, cleric, sorcerer) who wants it for the fire resistance only.

I think if something is enchantable there is value in anything with a permanent resistance to it, you just kinda got unlucky with the base.

Ahh, that puts a little more insight on things for me. Thanks. So, it's probably best to just toss it up in a 35k auction with a spattering of other enhancive crap then?

ya sure, someone will probably buy it, just to wear for a young critter hunting a fire critter (tree spirits, fire guardians, some teras things) or maybe even an older one who wants to wear it for hunting fire mages, and only fire mages. Or an enchanter looking for a project.

It has a use, it is just very niche.
