I just wanted to toss in my comments. I ran some VR to lightning plate in OTF for a long while before my MCP set. In terms of crystal weapons, motes and reflected 125's I saw very similar effects between the two. The resistance was much better than the VHCPed I had for a while. This would make for very nice OTF gear.
