That is a pretty bold accusation. I openly bid on something. I didn't try and do a low ball BO. Yes, I do buy stuff for a profit. With the removal of these items, I didn't feel it was worth it, for me. The char is easily worth more than 400. Just not for me.

In the high-end folder, go post a thread titled: "5x sephwir composite and 6x hcp brig," and list the stats in the body. Ask for the prices above, or set an auction starting a little lower.

Then, start an auction in this thread for this bard starting at about $200.

Update every day or every other day until they're sold. Do once, twice, sold for your sales.

Or, you can bundle it all together and sell it to one person for, say, $500 or $550. They'll be buying for profit and resale. It's easy for you, but you don't get as much. I'll offer the $500 (pending verification). Shoot me a note if you want to take me up on it.

I find it entertaining how some openly pointed a finger at WRoss for his PUBLIC bid. Then as it further unfolded quitly did a deal out of the publics eye. WRoss bid on a package that was offered to the public, nothing shady at all since he was actually the low bidder. Even more entertaining was how not a word was mentioned about the other bidder who withdrew as well when the package changed.

Now we can just go over to the auction posts and see some true colors.

I'm late to this party but yes, I would've bid that low hoping to get the items and the bard. Every now and then people take over accounts or characters and flip the items for profit. It is what it is.

They were 8x max light doubles and you were a sophisticated buyer within the general marketplace. Diffferent issue all together, frankly, because this seller was not sophisticated. So the point I was trying to make was not that you don't deserve to make a profit, and also I would have levied the same statement at Helsfeld and anyone else doing the same thing.

As for the armor, I think the price you paid was fair. I have no idea why you think 58m was too much for that armor, but I will take it back if you're serious.

Let me see if I got this right. Someone advertises their character and gear for sale and a couple of people suggest he sell the gear separately because he'll make more money yet no one is even bidding. WRoss bids then is outbid by a "private" seller (you know what I mean) meanwhile a couple more people suggest to split the items up. The seller takes the advice and splits the items up, the high bidder then removes his bid making WRoss the highest bidder. WRoss decides to remove his already outbid bid because the items he originally bid on changed. While all this is going on the character is apparently sold to a private bidder for an undisclosed amount? And in all of this WRoss is getting shit? For what exactly? Getting the ball rolling on an auction?

I have to read auction threads more often, they can be fun apparently.

Anyways, I'm sorry for accusing you of that, but I still don't get why you think I was trying to take advantage of someone.

If anything, I could call you shady for selling these leathers (http://forum.gsplayers.com/showthread.php?t=69226&page=3) to a private bidder, then not posting that the bidder had fell through, and contacting me out of the blue to buy them. Though, I think you are trustworthy and would not openly make that accusation without proof.

2) you IM'd me about those leathers at the tail end of the auction, asked if they were still available, and said you had been away or else would have bid on them sooner. Yup. Looks like I did IM you in February about the doubles, though I had forgotten about it. And to clear it up, I do not think you are shady. I was just pointing out the irony that you'd throw an accusation at me, after I did business with you (which I thought I overpaid for an item), when you have history of your own that could be considered shady.

All this drama with this sale and GS4Merchant has been an almost Shakespearean series of circumstance.

why is helsfeld put into this? if anything the seller is a douche for pulling items after he already advertised.... it would go for top bid it wouldn't have stopped at 450 and he probably would have got more then the said money he got for the bard I seen it topping out at 600 with items ...
