I have 2 backpacks and was wondering if they are worth as much as the translucent spidersilk backpack that was just sold for 8 million?

My first one isn't translucent, not sure if I had it altered or if it was sold off the shelf this way.
I have another that I bought already altered over 5 years ago and it's even lighter than the translucent one...
No clue what it was before it was altered though.

a spidersilk backpack can store a very large amount with enough space for any number of items.
It weighs 5 pounds with a jaw trap in it.
You analyze your spidersilk backpack and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

You can tell that the backpack is as light as it can get and that its pockets could not possibly get any deeper.

Backpack 2:

a tightly woven backpack secured with emerald-flecked paw-shaped moonstones can store a very large amount with enough space for any number of items
This one weighs only 4 pounds with jaw trap.
You analyze your woven backpack and sense that the item is free from merchant alteration restrictions.

You can tell that the backpack is as light as it can get and that its pockets could not possibly get any deeper.

So whatcha think? Are these worth over 5 million or is it only the translucent spidersilk backpacks that fetch that kinda scratch?

Thanks all!

The translucent ones hold "very large" but when you actually fill them, they hold about 150 pounds.

The carrying capacity given by inspect is a range. To determine a better idea of what your backpacks are worth, fill them to capacity and check the weight, or fill them with things that you know the weight of (like armor/weapons/shields).

PS - Do NOT drag the backpacks around on the ground once they're full. Bad things happen.

steel full plate weighs 75, steel half plate weighs 50, steel augmented plate weighs 25, and certain weapons (longswords? broadswords?) weigh 5. I just keep sticking stuff in until it's full.

As an example, I have a pack that can hold full plate, half plate, and 3 longswords, so it holds 140+.

I use light leathers. They weigh 10 each.

If I remember correctly, I picked up my translucent spidersilk backpack up around 1997. I don't know how long they were available or if they were sold after that.

Anyway, maybe the age of the backpack has a little do with it going for 8M.

Also, I was able to have mine deepened. I don't remember exactly what it holds now, but the one that sold for 8m was deepened (and lightened).

Thanks for all the help I will see about their capacity!
