im makeing a new warrior havent played in a very long time my question is if you have brig and wear greaves does the armor stack?

Brig is full-body coverage, so no, the greaves will have no effect on it. The only exception to that rule is if the greaves have some ability that the armor doesn't, like padding or spikes or flares. In that case, you can put the greaves on top and get that ability. If the armor also has an ability, the two will average out in some cases.
