Okay, I did a search, and it did not bring up an existing thread about the Saints' cause-injury program headed up by Gregg Williams
.

Looks like there is a 'smoking gun' recording of Gregg Williams, which explains why he had yet to appeal his indefinite suspension.
Apparently today is also the day that the Saints' appeal is being heard, so this 'new evidence' is likely gonna be a detraction.

Payton comes across as is a sniveling little bitch who thinks his shit smells of rose petals. I laughed when he got his leg fucked up... I laughed even more when he was suspended for the year.
I hope the suspension holds.

I hope the suspension is extended.

If Payton's suspension is upheld, the Saints are still going to the Super Bowl. Bring on Parcells.

With the leaked audio of Williams calling for particular injuries to players, I don't think we'll ever see him in the nfl again. I'd bet he's done for.
Really bothersome how he wanted to take out crabtrees outside acl. Scary shit

Tim Hasselbeck (tweets);
in light the the gregg williams audio. i don't think i was ever on a team where a coach didn't mention an opposing players injury.
speeches like that can be heard across the league. sounds brutal outside the boundaries of a teams facility, but it's the standard.
if a corner has a hamstring injury you make him run. test him early & then test him again after the half...no different w/ other injuries.
if he had a concussion you want to see how willing he is to tackle your rb. that's how it works. sounds harsh but it's part of strategy.
@SI_JimTrotter Is it also standard for a coach to offer $$ for hits that result in specific injuries to opponents?
@tthasselbeck $ & acl comment not standard.but not totally uncommon. the other aspects of that speech are the standard across the league.
@SI_JimTrotter perhaps, but the key here is the financial incentive to injure. all the other stuff is white noise.
@tthasselbeck no question.
never said it was ok. said never on a team that didn't talk about opponent injuries.head,ribs,hamstring..why were we being told about them?
Warren Sapp;
“This is the most heinous, egregious thing in the history of this game,” Sapp said of Williams’ remarks. And to those who think that Williams’ comments are in some way normal, Sapp said that it’s “an anomaly . . . one in three billion.”
“Not for one second would I sit in a room and listen to someone say, ‘We’re going to take out someone’s ACL’ without standing up and saying, ‘What the hell are you talking about?’” Sapp said. “The way you play defense isn’t about malice. It’s about putting you in fourth-and-more than you can handle.”
Dontae Whitner;
“Those are my teammates,” Whitner said. “If those things are true, I think it’s really disgusting and something should be done about it to a higher extreme than what is [already done]. You’re out there intending to hurt guys. This is their careers and how they take care of their families.”

Football instincts won't allow u to purposely hurt anyone regardless of the audio
Everyone talking about this damn bounty at the NFL level, come watch Gwen Cherry-OverTown-Liberty City Pop Warner football in Miami.
Shit is a joke, the Greg Williams audio, child please, come down to the inner city and listen to how football is coached and played as kids.
Stuart Scott (tweets);
specific ACL threats not cool. "kill the head..body follows" normal
how many locker rooms in the league are hearing similar speeches as the Greg Williams clip?” 31 other ones!
Karlos Dansby;
"I have never heard anything like that in the NFL," said the Miami Dolphins' Karlos Dansby, a former Cardinals linebacker. "The game is already physical enough, violent enough. Why would you put emphasis on hurting people, man? That ain't right."
Michael Irving;
“Since you were a baby you’ve understood never take out a man’s knees and on this tape he’s talking about taking out an ACL,” Irvin said on NFL Network. “I almost threw up when I heard it. I pulled back any covers that I may have had for a coach. If he is out of the league forever, it would be only the right thing to do.”
“The Commissioner, you can’t let [Williams] back in,” Irvin said.
Kevin Kolb;
"If it is true, that's obviously not right," Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb said. "We're all out there trying to further our careers. Hopefully, it's a one-time case and it doesn't go any further. Going through the type of season I went through with injuries, it can really affect your season and your career. That's not right."
Sean Pamphilon (documentary filmmaker who released Williams audio);
“Essentially, Gregg Williams is not entirely unique,” Pamphilon writes. “He’s just the one who was arrogant enough to continue when he was told to stop and eventually, he got popped for it.”

They let Michael Vick back in, and he's a felon. Why would they not let Gregg Williams?

Again, telling the players to take out Michael crabtrees outside acl is the one thing that stands out to me here. You're telling the players to majorly disrupt or end his career. With the nfl's and roger goodell's new stance on player safety, how do you let a guy like that in the league?
What if one of the saints players did damage crabtree's acl and he's out for the following season, then these tapes come out? You're talking major lawsuit for Crabtree and that's what scares the league.

http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/7846290/new-orleans-saints-mickey-loomis-eavesdrop-opposing-coaches-home-games
NEW ORLEANS -- The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Louisiana was told Friday that New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis had an electronic device in his Superdome suite that had been secretly re-wired to enable him to eavesdrop on visiting coaching staffs for nearly three NFL seasons, "Outside the Lines" has learned.
This renders the Patriots' "SpyGate" pale in comparison?
If proved, the allegations could be both a violation of NFL rules and potentially a federal crime, according to legal sources. The federal Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) of 1986 prohibits any person from intercepting communications from another person using an electronic or mechanical device.
