That Olsen twin thread got me thinking about old TV shows, and I started wondering whatever happened to some of the actors.

Right now I'm trying to figure out what happened to the cast of Saved by the Bell.

Screech (after the fizzled out College Years) I haven't seen on TV since that Celebrity Boxing match he had (on that same episode of CB were such noted names as Chyna, Joey Buddafuco, Fridge Perry and Manute Bol...ugh...)

Mr. Belding I remember seeing on some E! special saying that he grew a mustache so he wouldn't be type cast as Mr. Belding anymore. It must have worked, because I haven't seen him on TV since the show ended.

The guy who played Zack is on NYPD Blue I think.

Mario Lopez...I think I read about him either being arrested or getting a divorce for cheating on his wife.

Lisa -- no idea.

Elizabeth Berkley (sp?). I haven't seen her in anything since her disturbing yet climatic pool scene in Showgirls where she's thrashing around like a fish in a net.

Kelly I'm still waiting to appear in some B-grade underground porno.

I just saw Mario Lopez on the Susan Osborn show like a month ago. He seemed to be doing well for himself and I didn't hear mention of any jailtime or divorcing. In fact, he had just been married that week or something. I think. I don't know.

Except a big role on 90210 for a few seasons.

Also doing a lot != doing anything worth while. Elizabeth Berkley has tanked her career with her movie role choices. Mario Lopez is just under the radar.

As for 90210 people, I saw Tori Spelling in a show about house keepers on the WB a month or two ago. It was AWFUL!! I think it was canned 3 weeks in.. but it DID feature Natalie from Facts of Life (who was suprisingly the funniest cast member).
