Starter Character - Rogue

I have some starter characters if anyone is interested.

10m silvers and you would pay the $20 transfer fee. They've been sitting around for years, so they would have any fixskills or such that would normally be allowed. He would come with 4x gear and whatever I leave in the locker because I'm too lazy to look at everything. If it's unrealistic to try and liquidate a character like this, just don't make an offer instead of calling me an idiot for thinking it's worth something.

Added the stats. I don't think there was a guild when I started him. I did have a character in the guild at one time. What's the letter look like? Is it one of those deals where you get approached at a certain training? I can't quite remember.

Not calling you an idiot but 10mil is quite alot for a level 20.

You are looking at maybe 30 bucks normally for a level 20, and even that, charging 20 bucks more for transfer fee is steep.

Level 20 can easily be done in the first free 30 days of a new account/First 30 days period.

Thanks, that's constructive. It's hard to just dissolve a character if it's useful to someone else. It may be worth something to someone to avoid the hassle. 10m doesn't sound like much to me, but if someone is interested but can't swing it, it's worth making an offer.

yeah, I merely look at things like that as value in conjunction with time it takes to get to there.

For a level 20, anyone can do it in roughly 3-4 weeks, and 10mil can be alot of coins to some, along with tacking on a transfer fee (That Simu does and raised to 20).

Yeah, I'm with Gizmo on that. Charging $100 (10m at $8 per and $20 transfer) for a 20 rogue is pretty steep. I got a rogue to 25 within the 30 day free trial and I doubt I'd even buy him for 10m. I dunno, it's really up to you, but I don't think you're going to find many, if any at all that will pay $100 for a level 20 when they can start a new account, get one to 20 in 30 days, and use that $100 to pay for the next few months.

In fact, I thought I saw someone advertising that they would bring a character up to level 20 for $75, that's kind of where I got the idea from. If I wanted a rogue to pick, I would just buy a capped one, I wouldn't bother with a 20. I'll probably just strip him down and keep him to charge enhancives. Thanks for the input.

Lvl 20 Rogue with those stats? The buyer shouldn't have to pay more than $25 if its an acct take over. If there's a transfer fee involved, its simply not worth it.

I've done a lot of acct building for these boards and can tell ya the flat rate is 5M for a custom lvl 20 character. I don't know where you read $75, but $75 will get you a lot more mileage on characters than 20, just look around.

Anyhow, good luck selling.

Aha, I must be thinking of you. I went back and found your post and see that you were charging 5m. Who knows where I got $75 from? Anyway, I already gathered from the other posters the poor fellow isn't worth the ether he was born in, so I guess he's doomed to carry my detritus forever. He doesn't even know the password to the Rogue Guild! When the rogue's won't let you in, you are in sad shape.
