I have a brand new warrior I'm committed to this week! I'm THW, plan on berserking, level 8, 3x Armor Use. I also have 2.5M in silvers saved up.
What would be the most prudent way to spend my money?
Some of my considered options:
1X Claidhmore (an alt war-mage or bard could use it as well)
Armor (wait until 45 for Full Plate? Buy a nice MBP?)
Enhancive Stuff
Imbeds
Save it for better stuff like a 2X Claidh.
What would you guys blast your load on?

I think I would stick to basic gear that is the max enchant you can hold till you get to level 10, and move up armor classes as you can wear them, with basic armor as well. There is so much out there, that you should be able to get good stuff pretty cheaply, and at your level you don't need awesome gear. Enjoy it while you can, and save the coins and build your war chest.
When you hit level twenty or so, start watching the market for a few different things you want. I say a few because some things will come up cheaply and some will be at max price for the market. If you're looking for 3 different things at once, it's a lot easier to resist paying max market price, and instead buying up items that are a bit under the radar.

Well, right now, on the same account I have:
19 Wizard THW
23 Bard TWC
On my second account I have:
23 Empath Pure
The empath has been healing up his wounds well. Do you think the wizard would be a better partner? Or even the bard? I would have to secretly spend 20 dollars because my wife is... my boss.
Damn. 3 Posts deep and already got a negative rep because my username sucks. Ruthless ass fuckers around here.

They're just jealous that you're every creature type.
At any rate, the empath would probably suffice for a long time, because the things that kill squares are CS casters. Spiritual casters pump your TD well, and when it's not quite enough, he can heal you.
If you want to take one of those characters off your main account to assist the warrior in combat, pick the wizard. He won't offer much more in TD than the bard, but he will have 503, 509, 511, and 911, and can make you some nice armor eventually. 506 will help too, assuming he tags along.
Regarding what to blow your money on, wait until you can get Weapon Bonding level 5 before bothering with a better weapon. Make better armor with the wizard.

It's probably because your name is similar to another poster here (changeling). It was confusing to me, too...to say the least. :)

For the record, I did not red rep your username, either, if that's what you were thinking. :) But, yes, it does seem pretty close!

Don't worry, It's only temporary! I'm hoping to get my old account back. The password reset option isn't sending an email. If I would have typed the damn thing correctly this problem wouldn't have even happened. I vote that the entire internets add spell check.

Out of that list, I think I would start with the enchancted claid. It is one of the lower cost items (2-8mil given your stated desires) and is very helpful in those first 40-50 levels. I would not bother with anything but basic gear otherwise (standard enchant armor or maybe the odd cheap critter dropped set with flares/resistance). Instead I would pick what plate class armor I wanted for life and save everything else while watching for one I liked. My inclination is for full plate but I find reasonable arguments to select any of the classes. Even on a good deal, you are probably looking at something in the 15-35mil range for a set to last you forever.

FWIW - I went with the 'get my weapon set' philosophy. I spent a chunk of change on a weapon that will carry me through 70 levels or more without any problem, got started with Bonding, and haven't regretted it for a moment.
My guy's 24, working on the exact same skill set as you are. He's swinging a nice-to-very-nice maul, wearing fusion augmented breastplate, and has spiked and flaring accessories all over the place. I don't have any problems except when I get too happy trying to berserk in warcamps.

Stock Warrior end-game equipment (in order of importance):
Endgame Weapon
10x HDP max light fusion full plate
10x perfect "blessable" for undead
Enhancives

Not a bad end game plan, but I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet. Play around with a few different toys and you might find something a little out of the ordinary that is character defining. I know I started out on one path, and ended up doing some things that I certainly hadn't planned. Yet it has all worked out well.
I think the advice to start with the claid is pretty solid, but be open to ideas outside the box as you progress.

I don't really feel the need to have padding on my plate. It just wouldn't get much use. I like the flares I have on mine though, they aren't really needed either but I find them quite amusing. I also think fusion is a bad idea, most of us wear our armor all the time, or near enough, and with fusion you'd burn through charges wearing it around very quickly.

I agree with ross, I have a pocketmage and it does wonders for my warrior. can set stats a lil lower and get more into mental stats for logic/wisdom..
