Recommended armor for ambushing/hiding

Currently using brig and would like to get some tougher armor. What is the recommended armor type for rangers with archery who hide/ambush?

Aug chain. Only 70 ranks to get the spell hindrance minimized and if you train armor use up to 100, your armor penalty will be almost as low as brig.

I like no hinderance with doubles.
