I have one of those old 2006 PS3s that I've never had a problem with...until tonight. I can get no video out of it with either HDMI plugged through my AV system, HDMI plugged directly into the TV, or component video plugged into the TV.
I've done the "hold down the power button until it beeps twice to reset the video thing, no dice.
I've unplugged everything and plugged it back in, nope.
I can tell the system works because I can turn it on with the remote, but I can't coax any video out. Any further advice? Should I junk this one and get a new slim? Should I go to one of these shady "we fix any PS3" guys online?
