This just happened this morning in Icemule, Solescape had just finished casting guards when he threw a tempter tantrum because someone left his group in the middle. Edited a ton out, all the casting, etc. I'm glad the town isn't putting up with his crap at least, pretty much everyone there laughed at him at one point or another. Looks like we won't be getting his spells anymore, boo hoo!

I've had to chase Solescape down to Solhaven a few times to kill him for killin youngsters in the landing and attempting to kill me as well in one of my other dubious characters... like killing folks in front of the bank for throwing fruit at Foxs. I"ve also had to chase Foxs down and kill her as well for killin folks (including me in one of my other characters as well, but thats another story).

He hasn't run upon Ganalon yet since he doesnt travel to Illistim... I'll be sure to save the logs when he does.

As for why he's whining? Well, Solescape, if you wouldn't act like a tool you wouldn't get put in the shed so much. It's all probably just another form of attention seeking that we see so often displayed in the game and eventually here on the PC.

I am amazed this guy is still in the game. He thrives off of making people's lives miserable and it seems nothing can be done about it.

Here is what happened today:

I was in Icemule today minding my own business, waiting on mana to cast mass spells and he arrives. (oh how I wish I had logged it all but glad there were plenty of witnesses!) He started pestering my character as usual so I told him to leave me alone. He made several suggestive comments in front of everyone who was there and proceeds to kiss her.

I could not believe he had done this and was a bit angered so I casted dispell on him a few times hoping he would run off and respell himslelf. He killed me on the spot instead.

See! Real nice guy! I'd like to see his justice record. Yes my character hisses and grumbles a bit but that is what you call ROLEPLAY. I do understand what roleplay is at least.

This is my take on it (mind you I haven't read much other than the first post of this thread):

Does he diserve to be chastized for asking someone to back off? No.

Is he a bit dumb for taking things that are OOC and bringing them in game? Yes.

Do some of the things he does in game merit death? Yes.

Do I have a problem with him? Not as long as he is listening to me on the OOC channel, which most people tend to do (thankfully).

But yah, go on.

Actually, I think he DOES deserve to be chastized for asking someone in-game to back off of him in an OOC forum. The game is neither the time nor the place.

And Parkbandit, I thought that the fact that he sucks for behaving like that because IT'S NOT ROLEPLAYING is pretty obvious. I don't know why you chose my post out of everyone else's bashing to take the wrong way, but I get it. Thanks anyway for assuming I didn't.

The problem lies with the written medium and how it is read vs how it was intended. I didn't intend for my post to say "God SpunGirl.. you are so stupid not to know Solescape doesn't roleplay".

I used your post because it was the best way to get my point across that he's a dumbass and he doesn't roleplay it out. Sorry if you took it as having some underlying tones of my opinion of you.

Unfortunately.. casting dispell on someone is provocation for combat. If you wished him to go away.. you simply type "ignore Solescape" and then if his character attacks you, it's open season on Solescape hide.. or better yet, it's a REPORT opportunity.

Thanks Parkbandit....lesson learned on this one! Won't happen again.

I do recall him dispelling a friend of mine now that I think about it and trying in vain to hit the guy afterward (which I found quite amusing). After several failed attempts he ran back to TC begging for a sanct. What a guy!
