Lich for Mac

I am sure this topic has been tackled before. I tried installing Lich on my Mac and have followed the instructions but i cannot get this thing to work. Can anyone help!

1. What version of OSX?
2. What version of lich, ruby?
3. What sort of errors are you getting?

I am running Lion, the version of lich i downloaded is Lich for Avalon. i don't get errors,

I basically open a terminal. copy in the ruby text they indicate and then the lich text they indicate but nothing seems to happen.

and i have installed all of the macports.

and yes the lich version is ruby for avalon

Also, please paste the exact command that you're running to start lich.

I'll post the steps that I took to get everything working on my machine (Lion, Xcode 4.3 from app store, macports 2.0.4 & lich 4.3.2) assuming thats the same combo you're using; it may be of some help. When I'm sober-ish, of course.

that would be unbelievable. I believe that the combo of versions you listed is exactly what i have downloaded

I followed all the steps on lichproject and have gotten the same result.
Nothing happens when I enter the command lines into terminal.

Can either of you paste in your input and any output from terminal?

It should go something like this, for reference:


Infinity:~ peter$ sudo ruby ~/documents/lich/lich.rbw --gemstone --avalon
Password:

And then you launch Avalon and it goes from there.

I had the same issue. I get all the same output in terminal, but when I launch Avalon, pick game & character nothing happens. Game window doesn't open, etc.
