Seeking cheapshot partner to master the skill

Looking for a cheapshot partner to master the skill with as quickly as possible (at a mininum before the annual fixskills in May). I am very flexible over the next month and would like to work on this full time. I'm 55 trains and have 22 ranks but I will help you work up to my ranks if you have less ranks than me. I'm in the landing but am flexible as to where to set up shop (anywhere you would like). I haven't given alot of thought yet to the critter I can get reps from. I was using shan but I think I might just be too old now to get reps.

I've been going back and forth from the Landing and Icemule looking for guild members, calling out on LNet several times a night. Only found about one or two single-serving partners per week. My availability is scattered but if you call out, I'll probably respond. Ohnus is a great help in Icemule when he's around (somewhat rare).

Take note that the cheapshot vulnerabilities article on KP was copied directly from Midgar's page. It's definitely out of date. The level of minotaurs haven't been updated, for example (which was like 2008?). I'm putting together a list of updates for the list. Anyone who doesn't have an account for KP can post here and I'll combine it with my list.

Also, there's some odd behavior with creature's height and cheapshots (e.g. small races can subdue a standing snow crone but can't nosetweak one unless the crone is lying down).

I wonder if the reach is because of the weapon used to subdue the crone while nosetweak is just using your hand...

I don't think it's intentional. Not that GS tends to exhibit any kind of logic, but when you master you use your elbow and a blackjack doesn't have any reach to speak of. It's just buggyand no one has gone through to fix the broken nonsense. They've been threatening to do a maneuver/cheapshot vulnerability review for a long time. Think of it like a less discussed, yet equally mentioned elemental lore review.

Doesn't River's Rest still do guild night on like, Friday or Saturday night? I just remember logging in my noob incognito rogue who is in RR once to test some of my guild script shit... and the place had like 8 rogues all running around in there. So much for privacy!

Alot of Guild nights have kinda flopped.

I haven't even seen Riend around lately to do the Landing ones either, and RR hasn't had any in some time since I used to be there often with my Rogue

Also, Rar and I have talked about this at length and would have no problem helping you or others reach master. Rar (Rikki) is based out of the Landing and I am based out of Icemule. Just shoot Rikki or Middian a thought on lnet, PM us, or find us around town.

Furthermore, between Rikki and I, we have every mastered discipline covered for the guild, so do not hesitate to contact us for reps. We know how much it is a pain to find people.
