Ugh I think I might be seeing it now. The tattoo girl crawling out of her shirt and up her neck is really hard to stop looking at and it's like one of those things where you understand as a human being that a bad tattoo could theoretically decrease a hot person's level of hot, but often you're just able to look past a bad tattoo and think "it even makes them MORE hot." But then you see this stillborn little girl dead-eyeing you from the middle of this girl's (otherwise) beautiful neck and you think, "no, this is the fucking one that proves it, this might be the most detrimental tattoo in hot girl history." It could be that.

I also post on a sports forum (the-mainboard.com). One of the posters on that forum had the modified girl as his avatar. I thought she was very attractive and asked her who she was. He had no idea, so I googled something like, "girl milkshake bandana tattoo plugs" and on the second page found her name. I did a google image search and saw every other picture of her was sans body modification.

I was torn on which version I liked better. I don't like nose rings and I thought her tattoos were poorly done, but (i) I initially found the modified picture attractive and (ii) was drawn to the wholesome american-ness of the pretty girl with a milk shake combined with the body modifications. So I ended up choosing the photoshopped picture for my avatar.

Then you guys gave me a hard time, and I knew it would be a mind fuck if I changed to the original picture. And I was bored, so I did it.

Sure--I've seen lots of sites with photoshopped pictures, but why would he have both versions available, post the weirdly suicide-girls'ed one, but then have the other ready to go and switch it out? And what kind of site posted it? Is there a site dedicated to taking regular hot girls and then drawing tattoos and septum piercings on them? If so, I would like that URL.

I realize this isn't ridiculously interesting, but it's pretty much the only game in town unless I want to spend today reading through the Clyder threads.

I know the internet is what it is and people are going to steal credit from photos etc, but I tried to be polite - You all will most likely have seen this…
This photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/47385468@N08/5425714306/?reg=1 is an adaptation of the pin up shot most people have seen on here no doubt, but when I asked if the artist wouldn’t mind crediting the photographer and the model in the original, he stated “yeah blah it’s my friend emily rowland from back home” or something, saying it was inspired by Shepard Fairey which it is, and although I said it was very well executed I replied with a link to the original photo (http://yanakalina.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=192#/d2aqrhn) and told of the photographer and models name, and he proceeded to delete all the comments and block me?!

Adapting something and giving proper credit is one thing, stealing and lying about it is another. I mean really, what hurt could it have done to credit the photographer for gods sake? Would it have detracted from the art? NO.

Sorry about the rant, but if anyone would kindly and discreetly wish to message the little arse on Flickr what I was denied the right to tell him (i.e. he’s a coward) then that’d be lovely :’) hah! I joke, but really I don’t understand why he needed to be that rude.
