Just seeing what kind of offers there are on this mechanical quiver. Since questions were raised.. yes, it is a permanent mechanical quiver (like Akoe's). This was won from an EG game as a tier 5 prize.
You tap an onyx-riveted silvery mithril quiver, which is in your right hand.
>l quiver
A series of onyx rivets are set flush into the silvery mithril surface of the boxy mithril quiver. Tiny chips of onyx and ruby are inlaid across the front panel in a mosaic depicting a blood-soaked arrow. A thin hinge parallel to the bottom edge of its front panel allows a wide hatch to swivel open and closed. Subtle slits are raised from its top surface, facing back toward a pair of clips mounted on its rear. The only stray piece on the entire quiver is a single ring, posted in front of the vents.
You analyze your silvery mithril quiver and sense that there is no recorded information on that item. It may or may not be able to be worked on by a merchant alterer.
You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the silvery mithril quiver for you or have its pockets deepened.
You carefully inspect your silvery mithril quiver.
You estimate that an onyx-riveted silvery mithril quiver can store a medium-sized amount with enough space for several items.
You determine that you could wear the quiver, attaching it to your belt. The quiver appears to serve some purpose.
It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of mithril.
- creates magical arrows when supplied with shafts
- if paint is put inside, ammunition is colored
- casting spells at the quiver imbues arrows with the spells
- will not break
- beltworn, holds medium for several items
Interested in DB items, fusion full leathers or medium shield…maybe other things that I can't think of right now. All inquiries can be sent via PMs. Thanks.
I also have over 4000 premium points and coins to throw in the mix if the right item comes along.. just saying :)

Don't you inspect the thing and use the spring messaging to see if it is perm?

Will not break? Really?
Yup. Some exist that are permanent, while others are temporary and can be fixed/recharged by a merchant.
Not bad items, but to me were never worth much after owning a perm one years ago

Would whoever ends up with this contact me please? I'd like to test a couple arrows with different flare types. I have the shafts to use in the quiver and I can find a spell caster to cast at it.

Any have any ideas of the flare rate on these mechanical created arrows if embedded with a spell?

I've got a 10x perfect lance and a 7x perfect HCW mattock. Depending on what you value that at, we can talk.
ETA: Also have some 7x 38lb HCP plate and some 4x 58 HCP plate.

Been a bit busy doing some research, which I should have done sooner, and that was my mistake. So the 4x db for the quiver is not going to be happening. I can't fault you for not disclosing getting what would have been a killer deal, as I hope you won't fault me for not going through with this one. So for right now, I will be holding onto the quiver. *However* if you can find the buyer and hook up a good deal, I may be willing to cut you in on some of this action. I apologize for my ignorance and lesson definitely learned.
a PM I received after getting the item they claimed they would trade for... apparently its worth 275 million now Anyway best of luck to everyone and CONTACT me if you want to buy it because I can get a CUT.
THANKS

To be specific, that was the value assigned to it in a trade for a more expensive item. A second item wasn't found that could be traded, so it never went further than that. Both parties really liked their items and weren't willing to budge on a price. That was also at a time when none of the quivers had been seen to move in ages. I thought it was way too high of an offer and encouraged her to go with it.

I am not greedy i will pay you commission if you find someone to buy one for half of that 275 mil

275m? I wouldn't pay over 60 for it. It's actually less convenient than e-blading, and though you can get more flare types from it, it's convenience that defines the quivers.

No offense to anyone, but the 4x DB was a solid offer in my opinion. I was thinking 60-70m tops for it.
A couple reasons why, is as Briar said eblading, but also there are several people who can make regular arrows by the thousands for me at a price that is far more attractive than 275m for the mechanical. With how frequently the arrow head merchants have been around lately, I just can't see why it would be worth 85% of the value of a real bottomless quiver.
Anyways, my two cents.

heh. When they were first released, these used to sell for like 20-40million...

That sounds like two people doing a circle jerk to come up with item pricing.
275m is batshit stupid for an item where you still have to partially fletch your own arrows. It sounds like they priced it based on a comparison to "special quivers" and not the actual mechanical benefit/ease of use. You couldn't pay me to use a mech quiver.
I'll trade you a 2x DB for it.

No. He's referencing something I said a long time ago. Maybe a year?

Got it--just wanted clarification as I did not understand that post.

Just as an added note, you've got some of the top archery aficionados and merchants (Kitsun, Buckwheet, Neimanz, etc.) in the game in this thread. The advice is pretty solid.
