heart-cut pink dreamstone torc
The torc resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 3 to Two-Handed Weapons Ranks.
his enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 20 times.
It provides a bonus of 3 to Stamina Recovery.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 6 times.
The torc looks to have more than your average giantman could count charges remaining.
You sense that the pink dreamstone torc will crumble into dust after its last enhancive charge has been expended.
You sense that the pink dreamstone torc will disintegrate after its last magical charge has been expended.
Blank mage rechargeable, too
Sorry for any confusion

Holy burning balls. Don't you dare sell that on a fast BO. It's the best THW enhancive I've ever seen.

Anyone that fusions this just to make it non-crumbly would be out of their mind. But yes, you could of course.

Explain why? I would much rather have a permanent +15 THW orb then a crumbly one. But then again I'm not very versed in enhancives.

Make sure it isn't 3 ranks. Have a bard sing to it and give you the level restriction while they're at it.

Orbing items is meant to put them from bad items onto the fusable spots; that means only weapons, armor, shield.
This one is on a torc. It isn't armor so it doesn't mess up AsG. That is also a pretty rare slot to have an enhancive.
Orbing it would do a number on the value.

It's also crumbly. I wouldn't even take the chance of having this thing crumble. I suppose if you were a bard and could sing to it a lot.
If this were an orb, I would not be interested. I have no fusion gear.
Also, I bet Kerl's onto something.

Neckworn is much more useful than an orb since you get 3 neck slots. A modicum of care and you won't crumble it.

Crumbly also makes the recharge cost cheaper. I'm not sure if it is cheaper than if it was turned into an orb and put in a fusion piece though. It would depend on what fusion item you put it in, weapon, shield or armor because the recharge cost would be different in each of them.
Personally crumbly items don't scare me any, but then I also have a pocket bard so it's no big deal to check it once a month or so.

If you're not checking your enhancives monthly then your crumblies are up for grabs to be wormfood.
I still don't trust em sometimes. I usually get a good 6 weeks out of this VERY nice necklace, but the other day I was purifying on my bard and figured I'd check my crumblies. Only had a few charges left. Woulda lost it had I waited another 3 weeks. It blew twice the amount of charges this round.
Bid obviously withdrawn. Yes, it matters.

I guess it just depends on how often you play and how you use your enchancives and of course, luck. I have a crumbly torc that I fully charged up during the Silver recharging (so, First week in Jan.) and I just checked it and it's still competely full according to the treasure master. I assume if it had even lost 1 charge he would have offered to charge it. Which means in roughly 6 weeks it hasn't even lost 1 charge.
So, I'm going to alter my orginal statement and say it would be crazy for ME to convert it to a fusion orb but it might actually be better for someone else.
And, wasn't there a merchant once that turned Rank enhancives into Bonus enchancives? Maybe I'm just dreaming about that one.

You're thinking of the merchant who turned crumbly enhancives into persistent enhancives

If you have crumbly stuff and have a bard, why would you even take the risk of waiting so long in between singing to your items? I know it depends on how often you're using them, but once a month, for something you can do at any time, seems careless

We get word assuring that it is bonus and not +3 ranks?

It's ranks. I sang to it for him and he updated the first post.

Thanks for the clarification, I just glanced at the title and didn't reread the first post.
