Keep in mind you're paying for the sword, which is really f'ing cool. I had a lot of fun with the character just looking to go in a different direction.

Think it is possible to hand the weapon off in a bag, reroll, hand it back and be good??

As far as I know no. It's attuned. Haven't tried recently though. That'd be sweet if could be passed to different people. Would be 100m+ easy.

He means hand it back to the same character, just rerolled to start with a fresh profession/race.

I've heard of it being done before with other attuned items but I don't know if it even sounds worth risking it. You would be stuck with the name.

I have a character with an attuned item.. If you hand off the item, and reroll the item is still attuned as long as you keep the same name..

That's what's rumored to happen with character(name) attuned items. No actual recent evidence has been put forth to support or disprove this though - and an attuned coraesine weapon is quite a valuable item to start testing with.

Yeah I'm not going to test it. Whoever wishes to buy the character can go nuts with it though. Simu will most likely claim that it cannot be done.

If you turn the thorns off, anyone else can hold it without injury. They just won't be able to swing it.

Just stick it in your locker and reroll, it will be there and still attuned.
