The kid ain't bad. He is a counter-tenor with dramatic qualities (Range out to a top-line treble F combined with the steel-ish quality in his voice) with good command of falsetto. He has some tuning issues on his sustained notes probably attributable to listening to himself as he sings and not flowing his breath through the phrase. But he has some promise though will likely forever be a niche talent and ever labeled a novelty.

But Whitney...yeah...its a shame. The real shame is she starting dying once she was hooked on crack. Before that, she was destined to be one of the greatest powerhouse voices in recent memory. She probably is regardless.
