Need ingredients or something Oxxon? Perhaps for you alchemy scripts to work on stormfront? Let me know, I got lots of them made since I don't use Lich to do my alchemy.

Thanks for the offers of help buy really its more of question about ranks.

When I started potions I had 9 ranks in general alchemy. Now I have 13 in general and 13 in potions. I wanted to really work on potions but every time I'm up for a new rank in potions I need to first get a rank in general alchemy.

Do I first have to finish general alchemy before I can finish potions?

I don't like the idea of going back and forth.

You'll never be able to rank up potions or trinkets higher than your general alchemy, so yes, you'll have to finish general first. And even then, every now and then they'll make you rank up something else before you can rank up in general again.

Thanks, I kind of felt that was going to be the case.

When I had found out that alchemy was structured like that, I went to about 20 ranks in general alchemy then worked on potions and trinkets. So following those lines I stocked up lots of ingredients for specific recipies so that I could grind away at ranks. It does take lots of time just take a break from it when you need to. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

I guess I'll do the same and keep an eye out for ingredients as I find them. This should keep me busy since I don't learn much from hunting and the Avd guild is all guiding now.
