Yeah, I really wish and asked for before, 1608 flares being reactive on armor also.

To me it made sense with the whole, blue fire surrounding it but they said it won't happen, which made me sad panda.

So, paladins have to make due with 1608 on armor being offensive only.

The good thing though is, if you use offensive cmans that would activate it, it also would activate spikes if the armor was spiked too. So, double flares from 1608 and spikes = possible 3 flaring manuever.
