I'm not really interested in an appraisal, I just want to know what this is all about. I asked on the officials, but didn't get much help.

I took this pin off and when I went to put it back on I get this:

The soulstone pin flares with magical energy and rattles in your hand, preventing you from wearing it.

If I look at the pin I see:

A perfectly spherical grey soulstone serves as the centerpiece of the pin, while spiraled bands of both light and dark-hued ora twine around one another in a twisting dance of metal. The darker ora arcs across the left side of the stone, while the lighter binds the right side. A single design is engraved upon the smooth surface of the soulstone - a simple rendition of a pillar of light descending from above.

I think it's angry with me for taking it off in the first place.

Any guidance from the scholars as to what is going on here?

Is it account/character bound?

Perhaps one that has recently involved in an xfer?

I've had similar (not exact) messaging occur for this, a case in which each acct was given only one shot at an event's enhancives or high end item.

I've had to move chars back to original accounts before due to this so they could wear em again.

Snag a loresong, that's the only way you'll know. Haven't been able to find anything via google.

Yes, thank you, I should have posted here to let people know I found my answer. One of the GMs replied on the official board.

It's a cleric guild pin. I evidently hadn't been back to the cleric guild in such a long time, they kicked me out. Now I can't put it back on until I re-up.
