It was... but that was supposedly just a bullshit version the GM made up on the spot to show what it would do.

1025 has since been in coding for the past 5-6 years... and promised all along the way. Hope rose when Banthis took it under his wing (was either last year or 2002), but he ended up quitting and not finishing it.

Solli is working on it, and from what I saw at Simucon, he was one of the few GMs there that came across as actually giving a shit. Not just about semis, but in general. He said HSN this year, but honestly I'm more interested in my sonic weapon being able to thump the random undead w/o switching out.

I'm with you Czeska. I can't see Singing Sword as being all that great as it would be over powered. Being able to use sonic weapons against undead will kick ass for my Voln Bard.

Ok, I know this has nothing to do with sonic weapons.. but it does with bards anyway.

My bards train in combat maneuvers when they can spare the training points. How advantageous are they? and also what is the best combat maneuver for a bard.. also with single train per in brawling?

Czeska uses cmovement for the DS, but when side by side comes out, I'll probably use that.

What does side by side do? My bard is pretty feminine, so I don't think a maneuver like bear hug would be appropriate.

When you're grouped with other people who have it, you get AS and DS bonuses.

Fu is a lot about immobilization. A stunned or prone undead critter is generally Fu fodder. I know I had no problems using it as a cleric with 1x. I just felt it was a waste of time so I dropped voln.

If nothing else, at least you get +1 AS for every two ranks of CM. It doesn't seem like much, but for a semi/square, it adds up.

Edit: Her eyes are beautiful.. I have light grey contacts that is somewhat similar to that when I wear it. Not as beautiful though.

Dateline 7/2/2004: HSN WEEK 4: BARD SONG SINGING SWORD RELEASED!

Great magic has happened this evening as a peculiar wave of energy rippled forth from the environs of Solhaven. Shortly after, all bards everywhere began to hear a strange ethereal singing voice.

After further study, it was determined that, somehow, the ancient song of the Singing Sword has become permanent knowledge of skilled bards everywhere. Wherever this long lost song came from, the bards of Elanith are rejoicing for being reunited with it once again.
