Need someone either in Illistim or Vaalor to assess (how the fuck do you even spell that?) my ipantor bow. I thought they were all decent but I guess they aren't. Thanks.

I can help with that.

Sorted :)

What was the result? I've seen mostly "decently sighted" ipantor bows, but several "somewhat." I think I've seen one "heavy," too. As far as I can tell, it's just an effect of the treasure randomization.

Somewhat, bro.

Checking out the bow, it looks like it is somewhat weighted to inflict more critical blows than a normal weapon of its type.

Thanks. The reason I ask is that if I start seeing a ton more "somewhat" ipantor bows, I'm going to have to decide that bows aren't logical, and that ipantor is generally "somewhat" sighted rather than "decent." You'd think it'd go yew/somewhat, ipantor/decent, sephwir/heavy, but maybe not.

Yeah that's how I thought it was. I've decided to step ipantor to somewhat when assuming its properties.

Some GM during an assist said it was somewhat, its in some other thread here, apparently all the better then somewhat ones were abberations and now ipantor is going to be annoying

I'll update my guide with that info. Thanks.

I could use some help assessing a bow myself. My ranger picked up a bow from a merchant a few years or so back and she said it had a little something special. I assume it's some type of sighting, but I never learned much about ranged. If there's someone who's around during the day, I would appreciate the help.

Well, sing to it first to make sure it has sighting, so you're not wasting the assessor's time.

Yes, you are correct, it turned out to be just some zests. Durn merchants winking at me and telling me they did something special. Just a pretty 4x longbow, although I have to admit it is rather stylish looking.
