It's only good for Paladins who don't currently have Sanctify.

Once a Paladin gets said spell, it's pretty much a moot point to have any sanctified claid since any claid at that point becomes sancted with the spell.

Only other reason I could see if being of use though, would be to bond to a different weapon and use this as your beating stick in case shit just won't die lol
