Anyone know what kind of weather I should expect come March in New Orleans? Also, does anyone have any advice or know of any MUST DO/GO places/events I shouldn't be missing out on. I'll already be on the look-out for Steven Seagal, but I'll need other stuff to keep me amused also...

Cafe Du Monde, Acme Oyster House, and Emeril's New Orleans for the good eats.
Edited to add: Beignets at Cafe Du Monde, char-broiled oysters and catfish poboy at Acme Oyster House, and anything at Emeril's.

For drinking, anything on bourbon street. I used to start my night in New Orleans by starting off at the Crescent City Brewhouse west of Jackson Square to eat. They also have decent house brewed beer. I'd then walk up to Bourbon and hit all sorts of random bars. If you aren't gay, you should pay special care to where St Anne's is, because after that it goes into the gay community. Most of the places are flying rainbows. If you like hard rock/metal you can go check out the Dungeon at the corner of Bourbon and Toulouse. It has a regular bar that is open all the time, and a place that is... Well, like a dungeon with a bar. It is pretty loud in there, especially upstairs. It is a neat place so I'd say check it out atleast once. You can also watch old Russian porn in the regular bar part. There are a bunch of tours and shit too, but I'm sure you'll see the pamphlets all over the damn place.
Oh, and there is also an Absinthe Bar next to the Church in Jackson Square down the alley. It is pirate themed and stuff... Whatever. It is very small, but if there is no crowd it is pretty neat in there. A nice escape from people all over the damn place.
I always ended my nights with Cafe du Monde aswell. Stay away from Emerils, it is over priced and there is better and cheaper seafood throughout the Quarter.
Oh, there is a bunch of cultural shit too.

If you want good beer the Avenue Pub is the best hands down. Great sandwiches at Stein's. They are close to one another as well.

Make sure if you are trashed in the French Quarter at night, you do't stray out too far. You'll notice the crackheads if you go too far.
