This would be completely inaccurate and used by France as an excuse for their piss poor military tactics.

Any country that borders water on essentially three sides (a small 300 mile border with Spain) and has countries like Switzerland and Belgium on their other border is essentially in one of the better defensible positions.

Stop making more white flags than guns and perhaps you won't need the US to save your asses every war.

That is totaly accurate when you consider that Germany was, in the 2 times, the greatest war machine in both war AND was just at France's door.

Any country in France's position in the WWII would had lost, any of them.
