remember when you could have the game automatically calculate this shit for you? They had to disable it because the server running the game blew a vacuum tube.

Anyways, when analyzing fame you have to understand a few things..

You get more fame when underhunting.
You get more fame when solohunting.
You get more fame for doing fewer bounties (assuming you then do more hunting).

You also got more fame if you hunted in gs3 when critters were older, roads were smoother, and all the geese laid golden eggs.

Yeah, I wasn't really concerned with the fame numbers, more just figuring it would be reflective of the race/prof distribution across the whole population.

No other way to get that kind of info that I'm aware of.. Of course you can do who race whatever at any time, but can't do the same for people hiding their profession.

Unfortunately not for healing empaths (and locksmith rogues, and raising clerics). There are soooo many capped empaths but very few on the fame list.

It wasnt uncommon in the old days for an empath to be a legend long before gaining access to hearthstone with its 2 million fame front arch

yeah. check in with fame on includes you. check in with fame off takes you off.

You're telling me. Rogane had maybe 25m exp at cap, even though I hunted most of the way there. I'm at around 12m exp currently, and only have 55mish. Even then, of those in the top 25 of the empath fame list, most are there from GS3 and only about half have been active in the past year.

You gained access when you titled, though I only came around in 96, so it might have been different then.
